About me
Hello my name is Vivien.
I have loved rabbits since I got my first rabbit, Ebony, when I was 12 years old. Since then I have learned as much as I can about them.
I first became involved with rabbit welfare when I started fostering for Buddies Bunny Rescue. I looked after many different types of rabbits both at home and at the rescue. This was where I learned about all the issues rabbits face and how to care for, groom, bond and medicate them to ensure they are happy and healthy.
I have a degree in Zoology and I am currently studying a masters in Animal Behaviour and Welfare at Edinburgh University. I regularly attend the Rabbit Welfare Association conferences to keep up to date on the most recent rabbit welfare advice.
I am involved in helping the charity Advocates for Rabbit Welfare. I am also a member of the Rabbit Welfare Association.
